Home Master CFDGD2501-20BB Multi Gradient 25/10/5/1 Micron Sediment Filter

Home Master Multi-Gradient Density features a 25 micron outer layer, and 10, 5, 1 micron inner cores. It reduces turbidity, dirt, sand, silt, and rust particles down to 1 micron nominal + chemical and bacterial resistance. Four separate layers of filtration provide triple the dirt holding capacity of similar sized filter, while it’s design maintains a high rate of flow with low pressure drop. Fits: Home Master Water Filter Systems, 20″ Big Blue systems, and other whole house filters utilizing 20″ x 4.5″ replacement cartridges.

Replacement Interval

Typical life is 1 year on a municipal water supply for a family of four. Actual lifespan will depend on quantity of sediment (load), its size distribution (is it all the same size, or is the load comprised of different sizes?) and volume of water put through the filter.

For well water supply – please check the condition of your filter periodically, especially after inclement weather.

Multi-Gradient Density

Replacement cartridge features four layers of filtration: 25, 10, 5, and 1 micron. This multi-gradient design triples the dirt-holding capacity, minimizes pressure drop, and keeps your flow rate high: < 1 psi pressure drop depending on usage and sediment quality.
